With the Sunday sun beating down, This Is Hastings thought better of a Sunday Roast feast, and instead decided to hit the beach – But not before paying a quick visit to Peter’s Eastern Fish Shop!
With an array of fishies for our dishies, This Is Hastings opted for some locally caught mackerel, as well as a few cheeky sardines! Gutted, bagged and tagged on sight, and armed with a disposable barbeque, Rock-a-Nore beach was the destination for our fishy feast!
Popped inside a pillowy-soft roll from Judges Bakery, the barbequed fresh fish (topped with a squeeze of lemon) was the ultimate summer treat!
With a day of tasty food, basking in the sun with friends, all topped off with a refreshing dip in the sea, This Is Hastings was quickly reminded of exactly why we love this town so much.
