After purchasing some headdresses from Shirley Leaf & Petal Co. on the High Street, Rock-a-Nore was the next stop!
A large crowd of revelers had already began to gather to witness the leafy release of the infamous Jack! As the sound of drums filled the air, the crowd couldn’t resist its rhythmic charm – tapping and bobbing along before turning focus towards the Fisherman’s Museum, where Jack was being held captive …
Like all jailbreaks, it wasn’t that simple – teasing the crowds with his imminent presence (luring unsuspecting wenches into his foliage fold, if they got too close)
Cheers rang across Rock-a-Nore, when Jack was finally released – inspiring the dormant Morris Dancers within the crowd, to take up arms (and hankies)
Thus began the mighty procession …
