For too long Hastings has been marred by negative press, and the assumption that there is nothing to do …
On April 1st, This Is Hastings decided enough was enough and broke free from its shackles and has been running riot around town ever since.
With over 200 articles, 1000 photos and 25,000 hits we’re rather happy with how the two couple of months have gone!
We’ve gorged on many a fine meal, sipped countless coffees, attended excellent events, said hello to dogs and sweet rides alike, and best of all met a wealth of exceptionally talented souls along the way.
This Is Hastings would like to thank everyone who has contributed information and content, as well as helped spread the good word. The positivity and support towards the project has been overwhelming.
But to continue to exist and grow we’re going to need a bit of help:
KEEP IN TOUCH:
This Is Hastings can only talk about stuff we know about. If you’re a budding talent, putting on an event or know something amazing about the area – please let us know!
We have a Free Calendar to list on … just send us the information.
SPREAD THE WORD:
Please help spread the word about This Is Hastings – share the articles, Like Us on Facebook, Follow us on Twitter, subscribe to our Youtube Channel, or paint thisishastings.com on the side of a giraffe.
This Is Hastings is looking to expand its reach. We want everyone and anyone passionate about the area to get involved!
Specifically we are looking for:

– Anyone good with numbers / finance / marketing etc.

There is so much going on in Hastings & St Leonards, and we want to be there, telling people about it!
Here’s a few of our favourite bits from the last two months:
